Ryan Bergen joined CIM Magazine, the flagship publication of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, in 2009. He has a background in the Humanities, training as a journalist and – prior to immersing himself in all things mining – experience reporting in Canada and the United States, covering topics from self-dealing small-town Kansas mayors to Kingston prison breaks to Montreal’s famously crumbling infrastructure. He has been the editor-in-chief of the magazine since 2012. During his tenure, CIM Magazine has been recognized multiple times for the editorial quality of its coverage of the mining industry.

Diplômé en rédaction-communications de l’Université de Sherbrooke, Steve Bouchard écrit sur le camionnage depuis 25 ans. Il est le rédacteur en chef du magazine Transport Routier depuis sa création en 2000. Il est aussi le rédacteur en chef du site web transportroutier.ca et il contribue aux magazines Today’s Trucking et Truck News. Il a remporté divers prix de journalisme spécialisé au Canada et aux États-Unis et il a reçu le prestigieux prix « Amélioration de l’image de l’industrie » remis par l’Association du camionnage du Québec.

Lise Boullard is a passionate lifestyle editor and writer with over a decade of experience. After completing a master’s degree in publishing from Simon Fraser University, Lise’s French roots drew her east where she served as associate editor of Reader’s Digest in Montreal. Back in Vancouver, Lise joined Glacier Media, where she spent three years living the good life—and writing about it—as managing editor of Vita and Vancouver Living magazines. Lise now works at the forefront of Canada’s digital publishing industry, crafting copy that appeals to both humans (and algorithms) as content manager of Glacier Media’s digital department. She also shares her lifestyle musings on her blog, The Editor’s Diary at theeditorsdiary.com

Mark Burgess is the managing editor of Advisor’s Edge, a magazine for financial advisors. He was previously associate editor of strategy magazine and deputy editor of The Hill Times.

Currently Writer and Editor with industry blog Chemical Matters, Leslie Burt has been writer, editor and publisher of a variety of business publications in Canada and Asia. Titles include Lab Product News, Adweek Asia, Asian Advertising & Marketing, Asian Venture Capital Journal, and Process Industries Canada, among others.

Joyce Byrne is a publisher and magazine consultant with 20 years experience in consumer, business, trade, custom and cultural magazines. She was most recently the group publisher at RedPoint Media in Calgary and prior to that was Vice President at Venture Publishing in Edmonton. She began her career at This Magazine in Toronto. Joyce is the President of the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association, consulting publisher to Eighteen Bridges, and the proofreader for Taddle Creek. In 2018 she received the National Magazine Awards Foundation Award for Outstanding Achievement.

Rosanna Caira is the editor and publisher of Kostuch Media overseeing its varied portfolio of print, digital and events products. In her capacity as editor of Canada’s two leading hospitality publications, Foodservice and Hospitality and Hotelier magazines, Rosanna directs the editorial and graphic content of both publications, and is responsible for the editorial vision of the magazines and its many digital products. In addition to her editorial duties, Rosanna also serves as publisher, directing the strategic development of the Sales and Marketing, Production and Circulation departments. She is also responsible for the company’s many events, ranging from the Icons & Innovators, to the Pinnacle Awards and the newly launched Women in Tourism & Hospitality conference. Rosanna is well known in industry circles across Canada, representing the magazines at industry functions and serving on various Boards and committees. These include the Canadian Hospitality Foundation, the Ontario Hostelry Institute, and the Canadian Business Press. Rosanna is a recipient of the Ontario Hostelry Institute’s Gold Award in the media category, and has served on the Board of Directors of the American-based International Food Editors’ Council. In September 2006, the Italian Chamber of Commerce named Rosanna one of the 32 most successful business women in Canada of Italian Origin. And, in 2016, Rosanna was bestowed with an Honorary degree – the Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality — from Toronto’s George Brown College.

John Carson is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of The Lawyer’s Daily, the fifth editorship in his career. He brings 25 years of journalism, online content and digital communications experience to the role as an editor and reporter in the U.K. and Canada, specializing in technology and business. He also runs a digital consultancy called Herb Communications.

Maria Church is the editor of Canadian Forest Industries and Canadian Biomass magazines, two of more than 65 media brands published by Annex Business Media, Canada’s largest B2B magazine publisher. A graduate of Carleton University’s bachelor of journalism program in Ottawa, she began her career as a reporter and photographer for community newspapers in Alberta and the Northwest Territories before making the switch to trade media with Annex. Now living in Nova Scotia on Canada’s East Coast, Maria frequently travels to sawmills, wood pellet plants and logging sites across the country to hear from the people shaping the future of the forest industry and bioeconomy.

An award-winning journalist for more than 25 years, Gail Cohen spent two decades covering all aspects of the legal profession in Canada. She is currently working on a book about LGBTQ equality rights in Canada, editing Sage magazine, and honing her entrepreneurial skills and spirit. Gail was previously the editor in chief of the most comprehensive group of publications and digital products covering the law in Canada, where she launched a number of publications and digital products. She was recently the first journalist in residence at Toronto’s Osgoode Hall Law School.

Claire Cooper is the managing editor of CAA Magazine, which goes out to 1.7 million members of the Canadian Automobile Association in Ontario and Atlantic Canada. Claire has worked in custom content for 11 years and before that, spent six years at Toronto Life magazine.

Dave Donald is currently art director of Ryerson Review of Journalism, Point of View Magazine and Education Canada. He has been in publication design for over 28 years, working on magazines such as This Magazine, Chatelaine and Masthead. He is also a freelance design consultant and lecturer specializing in publication design.

Kristin Doucet is a seasoned communications professional with over 20 years’ experience editing professional magazines. She is the managing editor of Professionally Speaking, published by the Ontario College of Teachers, which has a circulation of 250,000 readers. Prior to this position, Kristin worked in editing and communications roles in financial services for 15 years. She is the former editor of CMA Magazine (now Pivot magazine, published by CPA Canada) and FORUM magazine, published by Advocis, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada, where she was also the Director of Communications.

Daniel Fish is the senior editor at Precedent and PrecedentJD. He graduated from Carleton University’s journalism program and has a master’s in English from the University of Guelph. Daniel won Gold at the National Magazine Media Awards for his profile of Michael Bryant.

Shellee Fitzgerald has been on the Canadian Grocer team for more than 17 years and is currently Editor-in-Chief of the magazine. Read coast to coast, Canadian Grocer has been serving the grocery industry for more than 130 years. A graduate of Queen’s University, Shellee has previously worked in communications at the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association (now Restaurants Canada) and was an associate editor at Chapters Online.

Renée Francoeur is the editor of Blue Line, Canada’s only independent magazine for law enforcement. She is also the host of Blue Line, The Podcast and one of the organizers behind the brand’s annual Blue Line Expo.

PhotoED Magazine Editor/ Publisher, Rita Godlevskis has extensive experience in publishing and creative media work in Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. From Toronto Life to Australian Women’s Weekly, she has worked across multiple editorial platforms with a diverse range of projects in her portfolio.  Rita holds a master’s in Creative Media from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, and has exhibited her own photographic work in Canada, the United States, Australia and New Zealand. Raj Grainger is a UK-born multidisciplinary graphic designer and creative director who lives and works in Toronto. He studied conceptual art and media design and focuses primarily on editorial, print- and identity-based projects. He likes to collaborate with cultural and educational institutions, non-profits and other creatives. His work has been recognized by Applied Arts magazine, the Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario (RGD) and nominated National Magazine Awards. In addition to starting his own studio practice, he volunteers for the RGD as an awards juror and mentor.

John Greig is editor of Farmtario, a digital and print publication that serves the agriculture sector. He’s spent his career in business to business journalism and communications. He is a graduate of Carleton University’s Journalism program and lives with his family on their small farm near Lucan, Ontario.

Jeff Hannaford is an award-winning art director with over 20 years of experience. He has art directed Zoomer, Canadian Family, Salon, and Hamilton Magazine, and spent five years as the Associate Art Director of FLARE. He has previously judged for the KRW Awards, Applied Arts Magazine Design Awards, and has sat on the Les Usherwood Award committee.

Tara Hardy has been working as a collage artist for the last 15 years. Her biggest love is her pug, Winston. Her deep love for animals and the natural world are present in most of her work and her passion for love, justice and freedom is what fuels her. Her work has recently been in The Washington Post, The Globe and Mail, Politico and in an episode of HBO’s Succession.

Rebecca Harris is an award-winning writer with 20 years’ experience in business publishing. She was a writer and editor at Toronto-based Marketing magazine for 12 years, and held the managing editor post from 2009-2012. Rebecca is currently a regular contributor to Canadian Grocer, Foodservice & Hospitality and Hotelier. Her work has also appeared in Canadian Business, Food in Canada, Profit Guide, and Women of Influence. Throughout her career, Rebecca has won four Canadian Business Media Awards (formerly KRW awards) and has been nominated for 14 awards.

Andy Holloway—Editor/writer who has worked for a variety of publications in a variety of positions over the past 25+ years. Currently editor of Financial Post Magazine and features editor of Financial Post.

Lauren Huneault is the Senior Content Producer, Content & Audience Development at the Canadian Franchise Association. In this role, Lauren manages the content production for Franchise Canada properties, including Franchise Canada Magazine and all corresponding digital properties such as the website, e-newsletter, video channel, and podcast.  With a background in journalism and publishing, Lauren has previously worked as the editor of trade magazines, including Your Convenience Manager (YCM) and Octane.

Erica Kirkland has spent over 20 years in Canada’s B2B publishing industry. In 2014 she launched InStore, The Definitive Resource for Independent Lifestyle Retailers in Canada for which she serves as publisher and editor. In 2018, she purchased Giftbeat, a paid-circulation B2B publication launched in 1992 which provides market intelligence and data to U.S.-based retailers. Prior to launching InStore, Kirkland served as the Editor of Retail News for 15 years, a magazine which was recognized in 2013 as the Trade Magazine of the Year by the Kenneth R. Wilson Awards. Kirkland started her career in 1998 at Annex Publishing.

Jacqueline Kovacs has worked in magazines for more than 25 years—in both consumer and B2B titles. Whether crafting an editorial package for Today’s Parent, working with writers and designers at Professionally Speaking or writing for Canadian Living, Best Health or Chatelaine, she brings a love of story with a sharp sense of structure, style and audience to all content she’s involved with. She is currently the magazine specialist at CAA South Central Ontario.

Benoîte Labrosse est une journaliste indépendante basée à Montréal. Elle collabore avec de nombreux médias, dont Finance et InvestissementProtégez-Vous,Esquisses et Continuité, tout en étant chargée de projets aux cahiers spéciaux du journal Les Affaires et rédactrice en chef adjointe du magazine de solidarité internationale Sans Frontières. Spécialiste de l’Afrique de l’Ouest, elle a vécu plusieurs mois au Cameroun, au Ghana au Sénégal et au Burkina Faso, où elle a entre autres couvert l’élection présidentielle de 2015. Mme Labrosse est administratrice de la Fédération professionnelle des journalistes du Québec (FPJQ), dont elle a aussi été secrétaire-trésorière de 2011 à 2016.

Christine Lanthier a travaillé pendant 18 ans à la rédaction en chef de plusieurs publications spécialisées : guides des éditions Jobboom, Magazine Jobboom et magazine Esquisses, de l’Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ). Actuellement conseillère en communications pour l’OAQ, elle supervise ou accompagne la publication des contenus de l’organisme sur différentes plateformes.

Leata Lekushoff is an award-winning writer, editor and content creator with 15+ years experience in publishing and corporate communications. She was most recently the Senior Editor at Professionally Speaking/Pour parler profession magazine. During that time, dozens of contributors were nominated as well as rewarded for their work under her direction, both at national and international levels. Leata began her career in film and TV, and has a background in photography. She is proud to be part of the jury for the 2020 National Magazine Awards: B2B.

Colin Leslie is a journalist in Toronto who has worked at the Medical Post for 22 years including the last 10 as editor-in-chief. He’s won gold and silver National Magazine Awards:B2B and before that a number of Kenneth R. Wilson Awards. He’s supervised editorial teams of different sizes over the years. The Medical Post is a six-times a year magazine and a daily newsletter for Canada’s doctors and is a magazine with a 55-year history. 

Marie-Sophie L’Heureux has been a magazine editor for the past 10 years. Starting her career as a registered nurse at age 21, she next became a radio freelance culture journalist at CKAC Montreal, and was then offered editor-in-chief position in a food magazine associated to a TV channel, Zeste (Quebec food network). In 2011, she was recruited by Canadian Medical Association to be editor-in-chief of Santé inc., a French-written magazine belonging to Canadian Medical Association/Joule that is still distributed to all 23,000 Quebec physicians and recently celebrated its 15th anniversary. Marie-Sophie has also been a Radio CBC/SRC health columnist on numerous CBC French radio stations across Canada and as a restaurant critic for Communications Voir/Guide Resto Voir. Today, she additionally contributes to various magazines and newspapers. She received her nursing degree at Université de Montréal in 2003 before graduating with a journalism diploma and a management master’s degree (M.Sc.) in 2010, with a specialty diploma in Health and Society. In 2016, Marie-Sophie was selected among 40 exceptional women that had studied at Université de Montréal to be part of a special campus photography exhibition about women that have an inspiring career.

Brian MacLeod is editor of the Western Producer, the largest newspaper in Canada serving the agriculture industry. He has worked at seven newspapers and spent several years in communications at a major mining company. He has been recognized for opinion and analysis writing by the Ontario Newspaper Awards, the Canadian Farm Writers Federation and the North American Agricultural Journalists association. He has judged the National Newspaper Awards and is a former member of the board of directors of the Ontario Newspaper Awards. He lives near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Gil Martinez has more than two decades of design experience and has worked for publishers throughout North America. He has been a member of the Association of Registered Graphic Designers since 2004, where he has reviewed portfolios for junior designers and prospective members, and participated in its Education and Ethics committees. He has received accolades from the HOW International Design Awards, the SoGood Design Awards, the Canadian Business Media Awards and others. In addition to his work as art director for Newcom Media Inc.’s Financial Group, Gil writes about branding and design for the financial industry, has written a book about calligraphy and typography, and teaches editorial design at Centennial College.

Hélène Matteau—Outre mon expérience à la direction de magazines, j’ai aussi été enseignante au secondaire (français, méthodologie du travail intellectuel, arts plastiques) et bibliothécaire scolaire. Puis réviseure dans diverses maisons d’édition de livres et de magazines, directrice de la production chez Sogides. Enfin, journaliste à la recherche, chroniqueure, intervieweuse, animatrice télé et radio à Radio-Canada Montréal et Chicoutimi, recherchiste et journaliste à TVA et Via le monde. 

Dushan Milic—I am a Toronto-based interdisciplinary visual communicator whose 20 years of experience as an illustrator and designer, and decade as an educator, is driven by endless curiosity, deep love of creative facilitation, knowledge-sharing, and conceptualization. My evocative, conceptually driven imagery appears in some of today’s most influential publications and has received over 40 awards. I also teach studio courses that focus on creative processes in illustration and design at Ryerson and OCAD Universities and hold an MFA in Digital Futures that explored the use of the aesthetics of the sublime to express and represent data.

Colleen Nicholson is an art director, producer and story creator with an ambitious coffee habit. Sometimes her work wins awards. (This has not benefited her personality).

Matt O’Grady is an award-winning communications professional who has held senior leadership positions at both regional and national media companies. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of BCBusiness magazine twice—from Mar. 2008 to May 2011, and Jan. 2014 to Nov. 2016—during which time the magazine was nominated for several National Magazine Awards, as well as a Jack Webster Award for excellence in journalism. He has also worked for The Globe and Mail in both Toronto and Vancouver, mostly recently running its West Coast operations as British Columbia Bureau Chief.  Matt has deep ties within the Vancouver media community, having served as an editor at Vancouver magazine and Western Living, worked as an online editor for CBC British Columbia, and taught non-fiction writing, editing and magazine production courses at Langara, Simon Fraser University and Capilano University. He currently represents the publishing industry as board director for Creative BC.

Philippe Orfali est reporter économique au Journal de Montréal, où il couvre le monde des affaires, les sociétés québécoises cotées en bourse et Hydro-Québec. Greg Paliouras has decades of experience in the B2B publishing industry. Currently, the publisher of Shop Metalworking Technology magazine. Shop Metalworking Technology is the top publication covering the Canadian metalworking industry. As well, Greg has served as the publisher of Canadian Plastics magazine and the publisher of Plastiques et Moules. Both publications focused on the plastics manufacturing sector in Canada with Plastiques et Moules targeting Quebec and the Maritimes. In addition to manufacturing, Greg has spent over a decade in the construction, architecture and design sector. Serving as the Associate Publisher of the award-winning Canadian Architect magazine and Building magazine. Greg has additionally spent several years in the DIY retail industry, most notably as the publisher of Hardware & Home Centre magazine.

Sandra Parente is a publishing executive who started her career in advertising sales at Rogers Media (formerly Maclean Hunter). In her 25+ years at Rogers, Sandra held leadership roles from Ad Director of Canadian Business, PROFIT and MoneySense magazines, GM of Corporate Sales for B2B publishing, and Group Publisher of MoneySense, Maclean’s and Sportsnet magazines until 2016. In 2017, Sandra joined Newcom Media as their Director of Business Development and has recently been appointed to the Managing Director role responsible for the Insurance Media brands including Canadian Underwriter, Claims Canada and the Top Broker Summit.

In a 15-year journalism career, Jennifer Paterson has largely worked in editorial roles at business-to-business magazines, including her current role as editor of Benefits Canada. She was introduced to the world of pensions, investments and health benefits during five years as a senior reporter at Employee Benefits magazine in London, U.K. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Journalism from Ryerson University and a Bachelor of Arts (English/History) from Queen’s University.

Ian Portsmouth—I’m an experienced business operator and award-winning former journalist specializing in best management practices and B2B marketing strategy. Deep background in print and online media. Fifteen years of public speaking experience, focused on the tactics and strategies of high-growth companies. (Formerly represented by Speakers’ Spotlight and the National Speakers Bureau.) 

Mark Pupo is the Editor-in-Chief of Reader’s Digest Canada and a contributing editor to Toronto Life.

Carlo Ricci is a Los Angeles & Vancouver-based commercial photographer/director. He specializes in editorial portraiture, motion and advertising. Clients include American Express, Gillette, Mazda, Johnson & Johnson, Slack, Emirates, Canadian Tourism, Conde Nast and Mastercard.

Luc Rinaldi is the editor of Pivot magazine. His work has appeared in Maclean’s, Toronto Life and The Walrus.

Theresa Rogers—Experienced editor with an award-winning publishing portfolio. Skilled in web and social media content writing, feature writing, and copy editing. Strong media and communications professional providing strategic direction for dozens of associations. 

Peter Saltsman is the editor-in-chief of Sharp magazine. He has also held editorial positions at Toronto Life, enRoute, CBC and the National Post.

Melissa Shin, editorial director, Advisor’s Edge and Investment Executive, Newcom Media Inc. As an award-winning journalist and the editorial director of four national financial services publications, Melissa turns technical subject matter into accessible content for sophisticated audiences. Her reporting has been cited in university syllabi, in textbooks and to national regulators. She is also an experienced moderator and speaker. Melissa started at Advisor’s Edge in 2011. Prior to that, she was managing editor of Corporate Knights, a North American magazine focused on clean capitalism. From 2013 to 2017, Melissa chaired the board of Point of View magazine, Canada’s magazine about documentary culture. She is a graduate of the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Alina Skyson is a design director at The Office of Gilbert Li in Toronto, Canada. She enjoys focusing her conceptual eye on editorial and book design, identity projects as well as art direction for photography and illustration. Having begun her career at McCann Toronto, Alina has had extensive experience developing campaigns for some of the largest brands in the country. Her work has been recognized by the National Magazine Awards, the Kenneth R. Wilson Awards, Applied Arts, and the Advertising & Design Club of Canada (ADCCs), among others.

Diplômée d’une maîtrise en Management de la culture et des médias de Sciences Po Paris, Marine Thomas est spécialisée dans la presse d’affaires. En 2011, elle pilote la refonte du magazine Premières en affaires, un bimestrielsur les grands enjeux économiques au féminin. Deux ans plus tard, elle participe à la création d’Inspiro, un magazine trimestriel destiné aux jeunes professionnels et entrepreneurs. Elle assure la supervision du contenu de ces deux publications jusqu’en 2015, puis devient rédactrice en chef de la revue Gestion de HEC Montréal. En décembre 2016, elle entre au journal Les Affairesà titre de directrice de contenu, Journal et Bulletin privilège avant d’en devenir la rédactrice en chef en juillet 2019. Engagée dans la communauté, Marine est vice-présidente du conseil d’administration du Y des femmes, présidente-fondatrice du comité philanthropique Génération W, et administratrice de Lire et faire lire.

Joe Thompson has been covering the Canadian manufacturing sector for nearly two decades. He is responsible for the day-to-day editorial direction of the magazine, providing a uniquely Canadian look at the world of metal manufacturing. An award-winning author and graduate of the Sheridan College journalism program, Joe has published articles worldwide in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, civil infrastructure, pharmaceutical, medical, and entertainment.

Based in Toronto, Michael Tong serves as the art director for the Luxury & Lifestyle Group at Bookmark Content and Communication, a global content marketing agency. He has worked on multimedia projects for clients including Lindt, Nobis, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Tourism Toronto, Air Canada and Hudson Yards. Through creative direction and graphic design Michael brings his interests in food, travel, design and culture to life across editorial, digital and experiential platforms.

Martine Turenne est rédactrice en chef de La Conversation Canada, un site de journalisme académique qui fait partie du réseau global The Conversation. Elle était auparavant rédactrice en chef de Droit-inc, un site d’actualités juridiques, et d’Espresso-jobs, un site spécialisé en TI.  Elle a auparavant occupé les fonctions de journaliste et de rédactrice en chef au sein de plusieurs médias québécois, notamment TC Média (Les Affaires et Commerce), Québecor (TVA et Le Journal de Montréal), L’actualité et Radio-Canada. Elle a aussi publié plusieurs ouvrages, reçu plusieurs prix en journalisme et une bourse de la Fondation Michener.

Carey van der Zalm is the national award-winning Creative Director for the leading independent Canadian architecture magazine, The Site Magazine, named by the National Magazine Awards, as ‘2018 Magazine of the Year’. In addition to her work in print design and publishing, Carey is an Architect, who practices with a focus in healing architecture.

Thomas Watson (Twitter: @NotSocrates) is a management consultant and award-winning journalist with unique experience in the corporate world, where he is known for blowing the whistle on an international stock manipulation scheme while heading investor relations at a high-profile global venture capital outfit during the dot-com boom. As the Big Picture columnist for Financial Post Magazine, Watson explores the real story behind hyped business trends and current events. He also covers industry disruption and other management issues as Editor of Ivey Business Journal, one of Canada’s oldest business publications. In 2013, following a long career as an investigative journalist and columnist at Canadian Business magazine, Watson was recruited by the Ivey Business School at Western University to use his unique combination of experience in journalism and the corporate world to transform IBJ into a digital hub for management-related thought leadership. At Ivey, Watson also regularly works with the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership to promote best practices in management and governance, and consults on select executive education programs and MBA case writing projects. As a guest lecturer, Watson shares his experience as a financial-sector whistle blower, which led to his investigative work covering white-collar crime and governance issues at Canadian Business, where he served on the editorial board credited with garnering the publication’s Magazine of the Year nomination in 2009. Watson’s investigative work at Canadian Business was also recognized for excellence by the National Magazine Awards Foundation. Watson holds undergrad degrees in history and political philosophy. As a graduate student, he studied journalism, political theory, international politics, public finance, and macroeconomics. Post-graduate studies included securities and market regulation.

Tim Wilbur is Editor-In-Chief of Key Media’s print and digital law publications including Lexpert, Canadian Lawyer, InHouse, and Law Times and a licensed lawyer. He has over 14 years of publishing experience, starting as the Focus Editor on The Lawyers Weekly publication at LexisNexis after completing his articles at Lerners in Toronto. He also managed editorial content for various legal publications at Thomson Reuters for over 7 years.

Alison Wood’s media career began as the editor of a professional beauty publication. Over the years, she journeyed from editor, to freelance writer, to custom content leader to group publisher of award-winning B2C and B2B platforms, spanning everything from parenting to financial services to marketing. She now focuses her energy on helping companies define and share their story as the founder of a content strategy consultancy, believing strongly that a good narrative helps change attitudes, beliefs and behaviours. Alison is passionate about learning and evolving and recently completed a master’s in Technology Management to further her skills in design thinking, strategy and innovation. Her thesis focuses on the impact of networking on women who have founded technology businesses. She hopes to publish this paper in a leading entrepreneurial journal in the near future.
